Do you run private tours?

+

While most of our daily and weekly tours are public and shared with other people, we’re happy to organise tours and activities for private groups. Please visit the Corporate Events pages for Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. For more information, send us an enquiry.

How fit do I need to be?

+

Most of our walking tours are only mildly difficult, but do require the ability to walk for 1.5-3 hours. Our Blue Mountains Tour from Sydney is moderately difficult, so tour-goers should be able to hike a trail in the mountains (though not up the mountain!) at high altitude.

What must I bring on my tour?

+

We recommend you wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Depending on the season (wet or dry), this could include rain gear. We also recommend bringing a camera to capture all of the sights!

Are your tours suitable for children?

+

We recommend our tours for anyone age 5 and up.

How can I book a spot on your tour?

+

Booking a tour through Iwara has never been easier! All of our experiences are bookable through Rezdy, so you can make a secure payment directly through our website and will receive an email confirmation shortly afterwards. We’ll receive notice of your booking and will send you a follow up email with any additional information!

What does "Country" mean?

+

When Aboriginal people use the English word “Country,” it is meant in a special way. For Aboriginal people, culture, nature, and land are all linked. Aboriginal communities have a cultural connection to the land, which is based on each community’s distinct culture, traditions, and laws.
